Sunday Notes: We're Back.
A Sunday journaling guide for returning to yourself after a season of fog
Ok hi. It’s been a minute. 😅
Honestly? I needed the break. Life got busy, my brain got foggy, and Sunday Notes moved to the back burner. But something shifted this week. The fog started lifting a little and the first thing I wanted to do was come back here.
So here we are.
I think a lot of us go through seasons like that. Where we’re not really checked out but we’re not fully in it either. Just kind of moving through the days, getting things done, surviving the to do list. And then one day something clicks back on and you remember what it feels like to actually be present in your own life.
That’s what we’re journaling on today. Coming back to yourself after a foggy season.
Part one
Let’s start with the fog.
What has the last little while actually felt like for you? Not the version you’d post about, the real one.
What did you let go of during that season that you’re now ready to pick back up?
Is there anything from that foggy period that you actually want to leave behind?
Part two
Now let’s talk about coming back.
What’s one thing that’s been quietly calling your attention lately that you haven’t made time for yet?
What does feeling like yourself actually look like for you? How do you know when you’re there?
What’s one small thing you can do this week that feels like a return to you?
Coming back doesn’t have to be a big dramatic moment.
Sometimes it’s just a Sunday morning, a journal, and the quiet realization that the fog is starting to lift.
That’s enough.
