Mama Intentions for 2025
Balancing Motherhood, Growth, and Well-Being with Three Daughters at Different Stages
Parenting three girls at different stages is wild. One’s a kid, one’s in the thick of teenagehood, and the other is stepping into adulthood. Each stage has its own joys and struggles, and I’m learning to approach each of them differently.
For my youngest, I’m focusing on being present—putting my phone down, playing with her, and building her confidence. I want us to enjoy simple moments together, like playing restaurant, crafting or a musical movie night, where we can both sing our hearts out.
For my middle daughter, it’s about guiding, not controlling. I want to create a space for open conversation, helping her explore self-care practices that work for her—whether it’s pro-creating, baking or cooking, or simply couch rotting watching her fave romcom. She needs to feel heard, not told what to do.
For my eldest, it’s about being a soft landing spot. I want her to feel independent but also know she can come to me for support when life gets overwhelming. We’ll continue to share our favorite self-care rituals together, whether that’s working out or a cold plunge, talking over bubble tea, or just taking time to relax.
2025, and every year, is about showing up for them, letting them grow, and embracing the messy parts of motherhood while making time for well-being in our busy lives. No pressure, just love, and real moments.
xx, lj
